This Cookie Policy explains how Revelane B.V. ("Revelane", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website revelane.com and in the Revelane Operating System at app.revelane.com ("Revelane OS"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data collected through these technologies.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels and scripts, work in a comparable way. We refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.
First-party cookies are set by Revelane on our own domains. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services we use. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
2. Your consent
We only place cookies that are strictly necessary without your consent. These are needed to run the website and Revelane OS securely, for example to keep you signed in and to protect against abuse.
For all other cookies, analytics, product analytics, and marketing, we ask for your consent through our cookie banner before they are placed. You choose per category. Declining is as easy as accepting and does not limit your access to the website or Revelane OS.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Session recordings never capture passwords, and we mask customer data, including email and calendar content, so it is not recorded.

Where a provider is based outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy apply.
4. Sign-in with Google or Microsoft
If you sign in to Revelane OS with your Google or Microsoft account, or connect your email and calendar, you are redirected to Google or Microsoft. They use their own cookies to manage your account session. These cookies are set on their domains, not by Revelane, and are governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
5. Tracking pixels in emails sent from Revelane OS
When a User sends an email from the CRM module of Revelane OS with tracking enabled, the email may contain a small invisible image and tracked links. These record whether and when the email was opened. This data is shown to the sender and their organisation, who act as data controller for it. See section 1 of the Privacy Policy for details. You can block tracking pixels by turning off automatic image loading in your email client.
6. Managing cookies
The easiest way to manage your choices is via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; see the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to Revelane OS. Withdrawing consent stops new cookies from being placed; cookies already stored remain in your browser until they expire or you delete them.
7. Changes and contact
We update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies or when the law requires it. The version number and effective date at the top show when it last changed. If we add cookies that require consent, we will ask for your consent again.
