Visual Storyteller

Your mission

Revelane is a partner in commercial excellence. We work with ambitious mid-market companies to sharpen direction and accelerate execution. Strategy, however, only creates impact when people truly understand it, remember it, and act on it.

As Visual Storyteller your role is to make thinking visible. You help teams  visualise what they are trying to explain, where they are going, and how the pieces connect. You translate complex ideas, strategies, and conversations into clear, compelling visuals that create shared understanding and momentum.

You don’t just make things look good. You help ideas land.

Key responsibilities

Visualise thinking and strategy: Turn abstract ideas, conversations, and strategies into clear visual narratives: diagrams, frameworks, presentations, and visual systems that help people align and move forward.

Tell stories visually: Create visual stories that guide an audience from insight to decision. Whether it’s a leadership deck, a commercial narrative, or a campaign concept, you shape the flow, not just the slides.

Design with purpose: Develop visual assets that are practical, scalable, and commercially grounded. Your work supports real decisions across the full funnel, from awareness to conversion.

Bring fresh perspective: Explore new visual languages, trends, and ways of working. You actively bring inspiration into the team and challenge how things are usually done.

Use tools intelligently: Experiment with new tools, including AI, to work faster and smarter, without losing craft or clarity.

Your profile

You combine imagination with structure. You enjoy making sense of complexity and turning it into something others can quickly grasp and use.

  • 3–5 years of experience as a visual, graphic, digital designer, or visual thinker

  • A portfolio that shows strong visual storytelling and design thinking

  • High proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Experience with illustration, motion, 3D, UX/UI, or systems thinking is a strong plus

  • Comfortable working from concept through to delivery

  • Able to switch between topics, clients, and formats without losing quality

  • Curious about new workflows, tools, and AI-assisted ways of working

  • Confident in explaining your design decisions and the thinking behind them

  • A collaborative mindset and ease working in multidisciplinary teams

  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

  • Based in (or close to) Amsterdam and eligible to work in the Netherlands
