Sales Excellence Manager

As a Sales Excellence Manager, your mission is to help organisations build high-performing, scalable sales organisations. You translate commercial strategy into effective sales models, processes and behaviours — ensuring sales teams are set up to win, consistently.


Working closely with Growth Strategists, Revenue Operations specialists and Client Delivery Directors, you help clients improve how they sell: from structure and focus to execution quality and performance management.

Key responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Operating Model Design
You design and improve sales strategies and operating models that align with overall GTM and growth ambitions. This includes segmentation, coverage models, roles & responsibilities and ways of working.


Sales Process & Methodology
You define, standardise and optimise sales processes across the funnel — from lead follow-up and qualification to deal execution and expansion. You help teams work in a structured, repeatable way without adding unnecessary complexity.


Pipeline & Performance Management
You support clients in building strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline. You define the right KPIs, rhythms and cadences to drive predictability and accountability.


Sales Enablement
You develop and implement sales enablement assets such as playbooks, account plans, value propositions, pitch structures and negotiation frameworks — ensuring sales teams know what to do and how to do it.


Incentives & Performance Drivers
You advise on sales incentives, targets and performance drivers, ensuring alignment between behaviour, motivation and commercial outcomes.


Change & Adoption
You guide sales leaders and teams through change, ensuring new models and ways of working are actually adopted. You act as a trusted partner to sales leadership, balancing challenge with pragmatism.

Your profile

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, sales excellence, commercial consulting or revenue leadership roles (B2B)

  • Proven experience designing or improving sales processes, methodologies and operating models

  • Strong understanding of B2B buying journeys and complex sales cycles

  • Experience with pipeline management, forecasting and performance steering

  • Comfortable working with CRM data to drive insights and decisions

  • Commercially sharp, structured and pragmatic

  • Confident working with senior sales leaders and executive teams

  • Strong communicator, able to challenge constructively and drive alignment

  • Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus

  • Based in (or close to) Amsterdam and eligible to work in the Netherlands
