Junior Pricing & Commercial Analyst

Permanent employee, Full-time · Amsterdam

Your mission

We’re looking for an Entry level Pricing & Commercial Analyst to join our team. You’ll work at the intersection of data, pricing, and commercial strategy — supporting client engagements with analytical rigour and a commercial mindset.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll design and run pricing research, build models, analyse data, and help translate findings into go-to-market recommendations. You’ll be expected to get comfortable with ambiguity and to own your workstreams early on.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and execute pricing research studies, including Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger, and conjoint analyses

  • Build and maintain pricing/business models and commercial analyses in Excel, Python, or the code language of your preference

  • Collect, clean, and analyse quantitative data from surveys, transactions, and market sources

  • Support go-to-market strategy work: segmentation, positioning, channel economics, and commercial business cases

  • Prepare client-ready deliverables — clear, structured, and insight-led

  • Join client engagements across functional areas during full customer lifecycle

  • Collaborate with senior team members on project scoping and methodology design

Your profile

Must have

  • Strong quantitative skills, comfortable working with data daily.

  • Familiarity with survey-based pricing methodologies (academic or practical).

  • Understanding of survey design and research methodology fundamentals

  • Commercial instinct, you think beyond the numbers and ask “so what does this mean for the business?”

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, business, marketing, statistics, or a related quantitative field


Nice to have

  • Experience with conjoint tools

  • Exposure to consulting or client-facing project work

  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools

  • Interest in behavioural economics or willingness-to-pay research
