Commercial Excellence Manager

As Commercial Excellence Manager, you strengthen the commercial core of our client organisations. You bring analytical precision and operational discipline to the sales function — designing processes, steering performance, and building capabilities that enable revenue growth at scale. You work alongside Client Delivery Directors, GTM leaders and RevOps specialists to transform ambition into commercial readiness, ensuring sales teams operate with clarity, consistency, and evidence-based decision-making.

Key responsibilities

Sales Operating Model & Process Design

  • Define and optimise sales operating models, including pipeline governance, forecasting rhythms, and performance frameworks. This covers Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Sales Support, e.a.

  • Develop methodologies and playbooks that improve consistency, conversion, and commercial productivity.


Performance Steering & Analytics

  • Analyse commercial performance across the funnel, identifying drivers of growth, gaps in execution, and levers for acceleration.

  • Build and embed dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures that enable confident, data-led decision-making.


Capability Building & Enablement

  • Lead enablement initiatives, including sales training, deal reviews, and coaching on sales effectiveness.

  • Align sales teams with GTM strategy, ensuring clarity of role, motion, and value proposition in market.


Transformation & Stakeholder Advisory

  • Partner with client sales leaders to implement process change and behavioural adoption.

  • Support integration across RevOps, Marketing, and Client Delivery to ensure one coherent commercial system.

Your profile

You combine commercial understanding with analytical depth and operational rigour. You bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Sales Excellence, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, or Revenue Performance.

  • A foundation in business or commercial analytics, with progression into a leadership or enablement capacity.

  • Proven ability to optimise CRM, pipeline, forecasting, and sales process discipline.

  • Strong advisory presence, able to engage and challenge Sales and Revenue leaders.

  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands and based within commuting distance of Amsterdam.

  • Excellent command of English, Dutch is a pre.
